- Duration:3 days / 2 nights (flexible)

Day 1 – Arrival in Santiago de Chile
Your trip begins the moment the plane touches down at Santiago’s airport. On a sunny day, and if there’s not too much smog, you’ll have a fantastic view across the city. Once you’ve picked up your bags you’ll be met in the arrivals hall by an English-speaking guide and transferred directly to your hotel in the centre of Santiago. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city and soaking up the atmosphere.
Santiago de Chile has 5 million inhabitants, most of them extremely friendly. The ‘Satiaguinos’ are relaxed, helpful people with a great sense of humour. In the city centre the Spanish colonial buildings and historic churches stand side by side with contemporary office blocks, international restaurants and designer boutiques. But the best thing about the city has to be the spectacular backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of the Andes.
Days 2-3 – Free time & departure
Santiago is a fascinating mix of old and new and the various districts reveal the many sides of the city. The Plaza de Armas with its central fountain dedicated to the great Latin American revolutionary Simon de Bolivar is the place to see and be seen for the Satiaguinos. Today is free for you to explore at your own pace. After breakfast the following day your Santiago de Chile trip comes to an end.
